440mL can, pours jet black with a medium brown bead. Nose is full of deep dark roasted malt, some dusty dry cocoa powder, a touch of coffee, and some wood. Flavour is bold, with massive roasted malt, wood, a touch of coffee and cocoa, finishing dry and very roasty. Almost reminds me of Yeti with its woody roast and dryness.

473mL can, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has some piney hops, orange marmalade, and bready malt. Flavour brings out some woody piney hops courtesy of the Chinook, with some resins, and bready malt. The hop expression isn’t the brightest, nor does it have the greatest clarity. Top-quality hops, but only okay beer structure. Decent.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden. Nose is gentle, with soft floral honey, some booze, and a touch of bees wax. Flavour is low-to-medium sweet for a mead, with floral honey and light booze. Not much depth, but it’s relatively clean and drinkable for the ABV and sweetness. Pretty ordinary.
