jhaase Profile - Brewver

Trial Bottle from Altinger. Light hazy golden, big white foam. Same light sour grain nose as the Keller, nice citrus though, chewy bready, Sweet malt, a bit stodgy, could use a bit more bitterness to balance.

Modern bar with clean lines in the interior. Sat at the bar and admired all the taps and what was on the, Good mix of solid Spanish craft and high quality international brews. Excellent food, I can recommend the Bravas, at the very least as a sidedish.
Friendly efficient staff which had no issue keeping a stag-do which happened further in the back under control while keeping up with the supply.

Swung past in expectation of a burgerplace with some good beers available, unfortunately they seem to have abandoned any craft they had in the past and only had drinks and spanish macro brews. Kitchen was not open either so no need to stay, went a few houses down to the delightful Le Sec.

Opened this 20 year old bottle after it started leaking through the cork. clear red amber with lovely golden hue, lightly pinkish head. Sour hay, light ensilage and leather. fruity/flowery farm. Sparkly, fizzy despite the seepage. Fairly sour on the palate, dry on the tongue, acidic, not completely puckering. Sour fruits, a bit vinegar, certainly still raspberry in the finish. Not one for mass consumption, but a fun sour fizz.

Tasterbottle from Altinger. Pale yellow haze, busy fine carbonation, white foam. Nice broad grassy and citrus aroma. Light sour grain base, good hops, light tart. Medium light sparkling mouthfeel. Refreshing in the summer heat.

Tap at Barca AirPort. Clear copper, offwhite cream. Honey and caramel, Medium, chewy, light stickiness. Bread and herb. Ok.
