Part of a four beer flight at the Oceanside Kilowatt Taproom on 22nd March 2026. Clean golden pour, white wispy head. Piney front to the aroma and taste, citrus leanings arrive soon after the initial thoughts. Decent IPA all round.

Large sample, from the tap at the Oceanside Stone venue on 22nd March 2026 (brewed at Liberty Station, San Diego). Black bodied, beige crust, rich and decedent for a Black Lager, liked it.

On tap at the Oceanside gardens venue on 22nd March 2026. Looked good in it's bulbous glass, red hue, beige top. Malty and semi sweet from start to finish. Light bitterness towards the end, interesting.

Visited with Margie on Sunday 22nd March 2026, around lunchtime. Open fronted single room (Space Pad at the rear, a Speak Easy that opens in the evenings). We were the only people in the joint that weren't covered in tattoo's, one wall has pinball machines along it, other fun (wooden) games available. Luckily I'm going deaf anyway, but I would have been after half an hour in here, Heavy Metal at Turbo Power blasting out; don't think 70 plus year old Brits are their target customers. I had a flight, then two more tasters, wasn't overly impressed with any of them, six new ticks and ringing in my ears; will not be back. Only their own beers available.

Two 355ml cans on 21st March 2026, cheers Joe. Clean ans clear golden pour, white crust on top. Piney front to the aroma with a citrus peel twist or two. taste similar with a good twiggy pine bitterness on a bed of citrus flavours.

Two 355ml cans from a mixed case at Joe's place on 21st March 2026. Only one of the four Alaskan beers I didn't really enjoy. Pours a clean amber orange colour, white topping. Just a little bland and boring, should have had this first maybe, rather than last of the four different beers.

Bottle from Hi Time, Costa Mesa. Drank at my mate Joe's place on 21st March 2026. Lovely beer all round, clean and clear amber body, off white crown. Boozy, malty and far too easy to drink for a 9.6% ABV
