500ml bottle from the Jolly Vintner, Tiverton. Drank while doing a BBQ in my back garden on Saturday 17th May 2025. Good looking beer, deep amber body, clean and clear, beige head that hung around. Woody, nutty and earthy with a slight fruity undertone, decent honest Bitter all round. More malty than hoppy.

Visited early evening on Thursday 15th May 2025, with Margie, Ben and Steph. Decent selection of cask and keg lines with local and not so local beers on offer. Large central bar serves all sides of the place. Functional rather than fancy, but it's fine overall.

Visited with Margie, Ben and Steph on Thursday afternoon, 15th May 2025. Sat in the lovely courtyard as it was sunny (didn't realise it was shared with another pub until I read the reviews on here). Inside it's all old and wooden the courtyard is all old and flagstones. Four casks (one Okell's) and a few keg lines new to me. Friendly enough place and fairly busy in the sunny courtyard.

Visited late afternoon on Wednesday 14th May 2025 with Margie, son Ben, Steph and two Liverpudlians (Howard and Jack). Smart and large unit on two floors, outside drinking by the road also. Decent selection of their beers, 3 cask Higsons on our visit, so I was happy, as they do flights. Liked the place.

440ml can from The Jolly Vintner, Tiverton. Drank at home on 13th May 2025. Pale golden body, decent white head. 100% British Ingredients apparently, well they didn't come together to produce a very good Festbier in my opinion, this wasn't malty or laden with flavour, just a bog standard Lager. It wasn't a bad beer, just a poor Festbier.
