I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

This is a lovely bar located a way out of the center but easily accessed via the orange metro line and a bit of a walk. There’s a couple of rooms and an outdoor back garden for when the weather’s nice. Nice proper bar feel, wood and brick all over. Excellent local beer list and friendly service. A top spot!

Fun place with games and some great decor / detailing. It’s spread across two floors with different rooms and an outside terrace area. A fair bit of space overall. Decent but for me not the a favourite in the city.

Draft at the source. Very hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is really nicely dank, proper resinous deliciousness. Citrusy and fruity behind and really juicy on the tongue in the finish. Lovely!

A small, loud and busy place in the old city. It comes across more small restaurant like than pub like to me. The beer is great though!

Draft at the source. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is boozy, alcohol definitely present, bourbon, oak barrel, vanilla and chocolate. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth and soft carbonation.

Draft at the source. Very hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is super juicy, citrus, fruity hops, dank and green too. Lovely! Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. These folks are doing some damn nice hazies..
