I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.
Activity
Take note that although there is officially 24 taps, 4 of them are on a kegerator out on the terrace, which wasn’t in use at least when I was there.
It seemed to be an entirely local crowd when I was there, and communicating beyond a few simple words in English didn’t work. Still, it seemed like a good vibe and I enjoyed the food there for what it was - I chose some chicken tacos which certainly seemed authentic.

It’s a pretty clear golden with an off white head. Things go well when you take a sniff, grassy, dank and weedy hop character dominates with a citrus light fruity back end. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. The bodies kinda light medium. Less than the NZ IPA from them.
You walk in to a pretty big room, nicely done up, and at the time of writing still has a new smell about it. Supposedly they’ve only been open for a couple of months. That shows too. They’re still getting some stuff ready. No working kitchen at the moment but they say that’s coming in a couple of months. Very limited English spoken too which is less usual for a tourist area like here.
Nice place though, and friendly enough as far as the limited conversation could go. Too many big TV screens inside for my liking, but I guess a lot of people like that and it’s not so far from the US of course.
No flights, just big and bigger pours, but what I really liked was the quality. Beers were well kept and drinking well because of it. It can’t be easy maintaining 20 tap lines in a new place towards the end of the tourist season.
