I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Another great beer shop/bar combo. It’s a very short distance from Bière au logis Saint-Denis but is completely different. It’s a huge place also with wine, and the shop and bar parts are basically just split down the middle. The bar’s big with plenty of seating and even an outside garden area. Beer selection wise, there’s a great variety of local breweries represented and the international selection beers mostly towards Belgian. I’d say that the local beer selection is slightly better than Bière au logis Saint-Denis but the international selection is lesser. Great place, friendly and a little limited English speaking was a bonus.

Bottle at V&B, Saint-Denis. Slight hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast and herbs. Light moderate bitter with moderate carbonation.

Near clear golden with a big lively white head. Aroma of citrus, weeds, herbs and yeast. Fresh and decent enough. Adding citra was of course a winner.

Bottle at Bière au logis Saint-Denis. Fairly hazy dull golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, a little fruit, light herbs and chocolate. I bit strange this one.
