I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Now this is a lovely little place in the old city of Kashgar. I expected to get a bottle of the local Wusu at best, but don’t let the name fool you, they have a full on craft beer menu. A step above the normal in these parts. IPA, DIPA, barley wine, an imperial stout, a wild ale and even something that translate says is “tomato carrot squid’. I think I’ll pass on the later. Still, WTF? Guys you know where we are right?

It also happens to be on a particularly photogenic little street with loads of outside seating and some nice chill live music.(just a guy singing with a guitar).

Of course you pay more for these craft beers but the prices are very fair.

If you happen to be in Kashgar and like a decent beer, don’t miss it!

First things first, they used to brew their own beer here but stopped about a year ago from the time of this review. Still they’ve kept it as a craft beer bar with taps and a couple of fridges. The guys are super friendly and keen to have a chat, through a translate app of course. One of them even went off and returned with local Uyghur food for me to try! It is where it’s shown on Amap. It’s a complex of restaurants, bars and shops. This is not on the outer circuit. It’s down one of the smaller alleys between on the street level.
