Unclear dark orange with a big stable fluffy head. Intense hops and resin, caramel, grapefruit zest, pine honey, mango, maple syrup, ripe stone fruits. Hoppy zesty bitterness, malty fruity sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to fizzy carbonated, hoppy zesty malty resinous bittersweet finish. What a great lager. Not sure whether this fits into the Export category as this is hopped like an IPL, but like a top-notch IPL.

Cloudy yellow with a fluffy head. Very yeasty, grainy, banana, clove, vanilla, lemon zest. Fruity sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, oily creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty fruity bittersweet finish. What a nice Hefeweizen!

Clear golden with a foamy head. Corn, papery, grainy, citrusy. Dry sourness, grainy corny sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry papery corny finish. Not a good NA beer.

Maß at Gäubodenfest. Roasted malt, bread, stone fruit, lemon zest, slightly hoppy and metallic. Malty sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty fruity malty bittersweet finish. Very good Festbier!

Unclear golden with a fluffy head. Smoked ham, smoked salmon, buckwheat, grapefruit zest, resinous hops, tobacco. Dry hoppy zesty bitterness, smoky umami, slightly sourish. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty hoppy smoky bitter sourish finish. A very good Grodziskie with an interesting hop twist!

Visited August 2025. It’s a nice chill tap room, easy to reach by tram from the main station or by foot from Hackerbrücke. They had around 6 to 8 taps, mostly Pale Ale / IPAs, one Helles and one sour. I hoped for more rarer ale styles, maybe another day. The service was super friendly! The Ales were good, the Helles better. They offer take away cans and growlers. Prices are okay, range is 5 to 6.50 EURO
