Cloudy copper with a white head. Pretty big hop notes, toasted malt, bit of caramel, minerals. Finish has a long bitter bite. Medium bodied. Really feels like a high hopped old school IPL. Good stuff.

Unclear dark orange with a big stable fluffy head. Intense hops and resin, caramel, grapefruit zest, pine honey, mango, maple syrup, ripe stone fruits. Hoppy zesty bitterness, malty fruity sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to fizzy carbonated, hoppy zesty malty resinous bittersweet finish. What a great lager. Not sure whether this fits into the Export category as this is hopped like an IPL, but like a top-notch IPL.

50cl Fles van Getränke Seeshaupt. Iets mistig oranje kleur, witte kraag.

A clear deep golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of dry grassy and citrusy hops, some grapefruit. Taste of fresh grassy hops, pale malt, hay, moderate to long bitter finish.

0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before October 2025. Almost clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral and gently grassy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, some gooseberry and a touch of fresh grass. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, quite fruity-floral and rather grassy taste of grains, fresh grass, lemon peel, pineapple, some gooseberry and hints of white pepper, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Really pleasant and refreshing lager, rather crisp and grassy, very good for the style.

Bottle picked up from a Hopperbräu online order that arrived yesterday and consumed today Wednesday 19th March 2025, listening to Chris Eckman - The Land we Know Best, cooking Meatloaf, Vegetable Gratin and a Brussels accompaniement. Pours warm gold, light amber with a good sized white head. Lovely balance of maltiness and bitterness, soft mouthfeel, streaky citrus, drying at end. It's incredible how the hops can really leave their mark on a beer and make you question the style , verging into APA territory for me, I love this and may order more.
