Fairly decent aroma of grain and floral and herbal hops, hints of honey and over-ripe fruits. Crisp flavour, not too sweet, bready notes, decent herbal hops, moderate bitterness.

330 ml can, as Jåttå Solveggen Lager, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.6%. Deep golden to orange colour, slightly hazy. Moderate to small white head. Strong aroma of floral and herbal German hops, hints of heather honey, also some caramel malts. Soft mouthfeel. Moderately sweet flavour, again caramel malts and floral hops, low bitterness.

355 ml can, as Allagash Ski House Winter White Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 7.5%. Moderately hazy pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, notes orange peel, coriander seeds and cloves. Flavour of wheat, citrus and loads of Christmas spices, moderate hops in the finish. .

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV was said to be 6.7%. Cloudy yellow colour, large and creamy white head. Aroma of citric hops, hints of tropical fruits and sweat. The flavour has citrus and yellow stonefruits, a hint of tropical fruits, hints of dust, decent bitterness.

440 ml can, as Reodor Felgens Flåklypa Spesial Pilsner, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.0%. Brewed by Nøisom AS, Fredrikstad. Golden colour, moderate to small white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, notes of honey and hay, also floral and herbal hops. In the flavour, distinct herbal hops give balance to a moderately sweet maltiness. Moderate bitterness in the finish.
