The flavour is not too sweet, notes of dark fruits and some citrus, also lightly roasted malts, burnt breadcrumbs and dark rye bread, hints of anise. Moderate bittering hops.

Aroma of papaya, guava, lychee and pineapple. Flavour of pine / resin and said fruits, medium bitter and rather dry finish.

500 ml bottle, as Švyturys Amber Lager Beer, from EKO Market, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, hints of floral hops and honey. Fairly crisp pilsener flavour, herbal hops in the moderately bitter finish.

Smooth and pleasant flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, hints of burnt breadcrumbs, very moderate but still noticeable bittering hops.

440 ml can, as Cloudwater x Freestyle Hops P.K. New Zealand DHH IPA, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 6.8%. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus, mango and other tropical fruits, also notes of pine needles and sprucetips. Equally pleasant flavour with the same elements, moderate to low bitterness. Might well buy again.
