Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruit, caramel, funk, chili and a small hint of balsamic vinegar. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, malty, caramel, dried fruity and a hint of chili. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat

330 ml bottle, as Nøgne Ø Great Shakes Hot Sauce Quadrupel, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 14%, IBU 30. Dark brown to black colour, small beige head. Aroma of fusel, molasses, hints of hot sauce, oak and whisky. Warming mouthfeel. Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, hot sauce with a nice chili burn, moderate notes of oak, bourbon and Scotch whisky.

Bottle. Delicious looking dark brown with a beige head. Intense aroma and flavor with alcohol, brown booze, hot sauce, roasted malts, dark dried fruit and brown sugar. Lightly spiced, clove, star anise and cardamom. Not really much Quad left, but it's sure a tasteful and delicious brew. 949417 250921
