Bottle from Wine Raks, Aberdeen. It pours fairly clear golden - blonde with a decent white head. The aroma is toasty grains, nutty, cereal, wood, sweet biscuit, doughy malt, grass, herbal accents and some white sugar. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, herbal, green veg, leafy, damp grass, biscuit, oat cake, sponge cake, white bread, muted alcohol presence and white sugar with a green, herbal finale. Average body and moderate+ foamy carbonation. A pretty interesting offering. Drinks fine, but definitely rather green and also sweet. Not sure I would rush back though.

Can from Fierce's web store. If pours clear pale yellow - gold with a small, fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty grains, sweet dough white bread, rich tea biscuit, cereal and grassy notes. The taste is crisp, dry, weak citrus, grassy, lemon verbena, toasty grains, quite clean, bready malt and snappy biscuit. Finish is toasty. Light body and and average carbonation. Rounded and quenching. Nolo lager is a hard style to brew, but Fierce have done well with this.
