0.33 l can from a local Centra store in Galway. Aroma is moderately fruity, stone fruit, peach, mango. Soft tropical notes, passion fruit. Sweet fruity flavour, stone fruit, tropical fruit, caramel, white bread. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth, not creamy, light herbal bitterness, no astringency, finishes dry. Moderately drinkable, balanced and quite tasty.

A large pub on the Eyre square, where the fun begins in Galway. Also close to main bus and train stations. We were there at the Galway Races week so it was super busy, crowded and loud. Standard selection of beers and whiskeys, with some more beers from Galway Bay Brewery on tap. Service is friendly and professional. Nice atmosphere and good to visit for the tradition, but not so much for tasting and rating beer. The food available is pizza by The Dough Brothers, not bad.

A large pub and restaurant in the busy Galway centre. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, quite crowdy. Small patio outside. Food was very good, hearthy and the portions are large. Standard price. The only place I found the Galway Hooker Blood Red Ale, so worth a visit for that and for lunch. Standard beer selection otherwise.

A nice cosy little pub outside of the crowded centre. Slightly larger terrace on the street/parking lot. The selection of beers is more or less the same as in other Galway pubs, so it doesn't stand out as a specifically important beer place.

A small pub in the centre of Galway, not as crowded as the others. Small terrace outside, as usual. Good whiskey options, beer options average as you find elsewhere in Galway: Galway Hookers, Smitwicks, Guinness and such. Cosy and friendly atmosphere and staff.
