Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, wood. Flavor is light bitter, roast malt, coffee, caramel, chocolate, dark berries, light alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation, dry finish. 160316

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Clear very dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 160316

Bottle split at Mother Arch, picked up at Callens, Dundalk 21/03/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is chocolate, earthy roast, spice, light charr, toffee, mineral strains. Taste comprises chocolate, baking powder, light hop underpin, toffee fudge, vanilla, earhthy roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent porter.

50cl Bottle shared by Colin, thanks! Black colour, light-beige head. Aroma of liquorice, burnt liquorice, dark fruits, chocolate. Flavour of more chocolate, dark fruits, some coffee, light yeasty, caramel, decent bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice, albeit a bit sweet.

Bottle shared in Bermondsey - thanks to Colin. Pours deep amber-brown with a frothy beige head. Strong ashy roast on the nose, some lactose, lightly tangy dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with further roast, scorched earth, leathery dark fruits, chocolate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish with mellow burnt earth bitterness, lightly sugary chocolate, cherries, raisins. Very nice.

Bottle. Dark velvet black. Aroma is toasted coffee. Flavour is toasted dry coffee malt, smoked wood, long try creamy coffee finish.
