Bottle shared in Bermondsey - thanks to Colin. Pours deep amber-brown with a frothy beige head. Strong ashy roast on the nose, some lactose, lightly tangy dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with further roast, scorched earth, leathery dark fruits, chocolate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish with mellow burnt earth bitterness, lightly sugary chocolate, cherries, raisins. Very nice.
