Thick creamy beige head stayed on a jet black still body. Robust aroma of malt, burnt & dark spirits. Medium to full bodied, thick & almost chewy in the mouth with a clean finish. Slightly burnt tastes of dark chocolate, dark spirits & demerara with a long tangy citrus finish.

On draft at the Alltech BF. Inky thick pour, blackish brown, small brown head that dissipates quickly. Nose of molasses, tar, burnt toast. Smooth mouthfeel, almost creamy, almost perfect level of carbonation, taste is same as the nose, a bit of boozy quality however.

Cask @ The Brew Dock, Dublin.

500ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, some cocoa, some liquorice, a very cautious touch of red berries. Taste is chocolately, dark malty, slightly roasty, minimally nutty, a salty touch of liquorice; dry, roasty, almost a bit ashy finish.
