On tap at the brewery taproom. Darker golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, smoked bacon in the nose. Sweet malty, smoked bacon, light herbal and bitterish sweetish finish. Pleasant surprise.

Brewery draught, 7/6/24. Lighter, honey-golden-amber. Wow! That's a lot of smoke and it's heavy peat/iodine! Rich, salted bacon and light wood. Salty as hell with intense iodine and rich malts. Dries out with salt and light campfire in the end but remains quite intensely malty.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with nice peated notes, light grassy hops, treacle, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light peated notes, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. A light film of lacing runs around the glass nicely.
The smell starts off with a sweet to smokey bacon and ham thing going on. Light sweet breadiness slides in underneath.
The taste takes the sweetness from the ham and combines nicely with the breadiness nicely. Light semi-wet bacon/bready aftertaste runs into a smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and smooth.
Overall, nice rauchbier that I would have again.

Yellow with brown colors. Smells like a chimney. Holy smoke. Hits you hard then fades to a charcoal and burnt rubber taste. Good creamy mouthfeel. Lemon and some sweet potato along with smoke

Clear golden-orange color with an off white head and streaky lace. Really nice smoked malt aroma and flavor. Hints the style nicely. Smooth, with average carbonation, and a smokey finish.

Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma is pretty heavy wood smoke, a bit of bread and caramel. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, heavy smoke. Bitterness increases to finish and gets harsh, a bit of a medicinal finish as well, plus a trace of the "Queen City perfume, although it was less pronounced than in my other three samples.
