Tap, at the brewery. Dark pink. Barely a head. Blackcurrant on the nose. Bready and yeasty. Light tang to it. Taste is fresh, light, and tangy. Very clean and light. Not loads going on, but itβs perfect at 9:15 in the morning! Could actually drink itβs of this. Very crisp.

Location: 22 oz bottle from the Cabot store in Waterbury, 8/18/15
Aroma: The aroma is Belgian yeast and spice, herbal and berry notes as well
Appearance: Pours a straight-up pink color with a huge, frothy beige/pink head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is yeast and spice forward like the nose, with a bit of berry tartness
Palate: Medium bodied, slightly over carbonated, with a fizzy and tart close
Overall Impression: The aroma here is solid, but too subtle. I actually really enjoyed how those exact same components come through in the flavor. A little less carbonation could turn this into a really fun, seasonable beer. Good either way though.

Draft sample at Rock Art. Nice pink/ purple color, lasting head. Aroma is tart berry, yeast. The flavor is the said tart berry with a mild herbal presence through the center. The texture is bone dry with a very weak tartness. Simple and clean.

Keg at Prohibition Pig - VT. Pours clear, matte pink with a flimsy white cream head. Pleasant berry nose, some currants, dry pale bread. Light-medium sweet with nice lightly tangy, lightly ripe and juicy black currants, grapes, berries, some gummy candies, very mellow dry must funk. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nice semi-sweet, lightly jammy fruit and berry finish. Solid.
