15/11/2018. Bottle shared with Danlo and SHIG. Pours dark mahogany brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, burnt paper, damp, rubber, fruit, veg, liquorice and wood. Light sweetness, deep burning bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Something not right with this.

330ml bottle courtesy of SHIG at Grumbo's not the only rater in Suffolk tasting. Black brown colour, thin beige foam rim and malty molasses aroma. Taste is malt, rubbery, burnt notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish. Not the best.

Bottle: Poured a black with a tan color head. Aroma has a bit of licorice, cinnamon and booze. Taste is super roasty with a super burnt over the top. Drain pour’d!

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger frothy brown head. Medium retention, good lacing on the glass. Roasty, charred nose with wooden notes. Slightly bready with sweet accents. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture. Roasty bittersweet taste with quite pronounced bitterness. Strong wood notes in aroma, roasted malts, coal, hints of vanilla. Metallic bitter aftertaste ruins it a bit, sadly. Some sugary notes, sticky mouthfeel. Dry and bitter finish, long lasting. Overall, interesting beer to try. Not bad but a bit unbalanced. Ok.

Bottle courtesy of Marko thank you. Dark clear maroon brown color tan head. Aroma of tannins and brownies, light licorice. Taste is sweet roast, vanilla, more tannins. Decent.

Apr 18, 2018: 0.33 l bottle from Craft Beer To Go, Savica. Shared with LSD. Dark brown, small beige head. Heavy burnt caramel, butter, plastic. Wood present in the flavour, quite aggressive. Very dry. Sweet malty and chocolate note underneath. Dry finish. Soft texture, light to medium body. Something went wrong here. Tasted again in December 2018. Much more subtle and gentle. Phenols are still present at a lower amount. Malts coming out nicer, soft roasty and chocolate notes, wood component seems a bit odd/fake. It's a drinkable beer with a few noticeable flaws.
