Can from Asda, Wycombe. Golden-amber with a thin white head and a moderate fizz. Tropical notes on the nose. On tasting it, there was plenty of malty Weetabix, well-balanced against lemony hops and some herbal, grassy notes. The malt gives it a good body too. With the maltiness it's more like a souped-up pub golden ale than an IPA, and for me that's a good thing - I'm bored of unbalanced hoppy brews with neutral malts. More malt and better balance please brewers! I enjoyed this one; this brewer seems to be making decent stuff even for supermarkets.

440ml can. Pours slightly hazy light gold with a small head. Aroma is grassy lemon. Taste is grassy to start, with peach on the finish and papaya on the aftertaste.

Golden with a thin, white head and moderate effervescence. Tropical notes are evident on the nose. The palate is malty, well-balanced with lemony, herbal, and grassy notes. The malt also gives it good body. I enjoyed it.

I never did found out which of the game show twins Melanie or Martina who co-presented ITV's 'Fun House' was the older. I bet Pat Sharp knows. Good bodied (the beer I mean) with strength a little bit of a factor in aroma and taste, but it's a tasty hoppy dominant IPA as well.
