Une IPA qui prend un détour belge. Fruité, sec, légèrement épicé.
Notes de la brasserie :
Au nez, on retrouve un peu d’agrumes provenant des houblons américains et des phénols issus de la levure utilisée. Le corps est assez rond, et la bière bien pétillante en bouche. Au goût, on perçoit d’abord un petit côté malté, suivi par des notes de jus d’orange et de pamplemousse. Le profil belge termine la gorgée avec des notes de clou de girofle. L’amertume finale reste assez faible.

Les épices de la levure Belge imprègnent le nez.
Des agrumes rappelant le pamplemousse et l’orange se mêlent de la partie avec un peu de résine et de poivre.
Liquide doré très limpide avec mousse abondante, assez crémeuse et tenace.
En bouche, on sent bien le poivre et les épices, se mariant à des accents fruités à saveur d’orange et de léger pamplemousse.
Une amertume résineuse et herbacée font foi d’une finale âpre et tranchante.
Goûteuse et bien équilibrée.
Excellent exemple du style.

Lightly hazed, golden-amber colour with a big, frothy-creamy off-white head, very long retention, leaving some creamy streaks of lacing all over. Beautiful fruity aromas, with lots of oranges, some grapefruit notes, blended with some spicy Belgian yeast and a touch of piney hops. The taste is quite hoppy with the grassy-piney hoppiness, taking over the yeast which comes out a little in the finish, and more of an orange zest, than juice. A nice smelling Belgian Ale with a West Coast mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a white head. Spicy Belgian yeast and a bit of phenols on the nose. Flavour has a nice peppery Belgian yeast expression, grassy hops, a touch phenolic on the finish. Aside from the minor phenol issue this is a solid Belgian IPA for a North American brewery.

A golden amber ipa with a very thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light curacao, caramel malt, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with resinous hops, light Curaçao, light mineral notes, very nice. On tap at brewery.
