Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a purple black color with a medium sized foamy pink head that left decent lacing. The aroma was mixed berries, yeast and a bit of mustiness. The flavor was tart blackberry, blueberry, yeast and a bit of mustiness. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Light pinky-purplish colour. Like fuscia or something. Medium head. Soft raspberry, just a touch of sour. Seems like puree, I mean like I'm drinking a smoothie.

Sample at Fox & Turtle Restaurant. Dark ruby-purple color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Aroma of tart berry, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart berries, doughy malt and yeast. The finish is mildly tart with a raspberry aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a deep dark purpleish red with a small pink head. Nose brings out the raspberries upfront, with a touch of wild yeast character and some lacto. Flavour is pleasantly tart, with heaps of the raspberries showcasing, along with plenty of pith, and some lacto. Not the most complex nor deep fruitiness, but it works. Solid.

Tap JRs. Look, if somebody is going to call their beer sour, it better be at least a little sour, not just barely tart. Starts off with a reddish purple hue. Yes, on the first taste Im waiting to pucker but it does't happen. Only slight hints of something tart, more like dull fruit. Not as good as I was hoping on the sour thang. A little alky is present and there is no bite of sour to set it free. Well, at least its a little mild and its not artificial in nature. Not bad on the finish. Could drink at least 2 of these.

Sampled from the tap at First Draft. Pours a clear purplish red with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy earthy and tart raspberry with earthy grains underlying. Flavor has slightly tart black raspberry with grains and straw backing.

On tap. Pours a garnet red with little head. Aromas of very little - odd - maybe some light raspberries. Flavors of green raspberries and wheaty malts. Pretty simple but nice enough

Tap at The Davis Graduate. Pours dark purple/red with a pink head. Medium body or so. It’s dry. It’s dark berry. Raspberry. Earthy- arguably sour. I’m really lik’in it. Clean and fresh for me. Good stuff.
