In onze tweede special staat pompoen centraal.

Bottle from Beerwulf, gift from a friend, BB 16 oct 2019. Almost clear amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of toasted malts and lots of pumpkin spices. Bit caramel, pumpkin fruit and pumpkin spice. Bit dry. Base beer is a bit boring belgian amber, so the pumpkin spices can shine. But I think it might be the clove that is a bit too much.

From tap at Rootz, winterbierfestival. Clear reddish amber with thin white head. Sweet caramel malts, I can imagine the maple dipped pumkin pieces from the oven in this. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bottle Shop Den Bosch', bottled in October 2017. Clear, deep red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly fruity and moderately spicy aroma of caramel, raisins, probably pumpkin and some spices, maybe cinnamon. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a bit spicy taste of caramel, raisins, pumpkin, cinnamon and some licorice root, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly herbal-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very pronounced, quite pleasant though and hits the style well.
