Hi-Res magnified the Resin… now let’s change the resolution. When you zoom out from the hop cone things get grainy. Focus on the juice — that’ll bring the pixels back into perspective.
Mandarina Bavaria hops provide a huge citrusy blast, while a pale, dry body finishes super clean and easy.
LO-RES is juice forward and clean, for when you want that dose of Resin, but don't want the same... pixelation.

From tap at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops with tropical fruits, grapefruit, light pine resin with mild citrussy notes. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Proper fruity hoppy bitter Session IPA.

Can @ Hart & Spool, Borehamwood. Amber with a head. Has a mix of fruits and caramels at a fair strength, and is denser textured for it.

Can at Prince Arthur, Fleet. Low key spicey floral aroma. Opaque amber. Blotchy creamy head. Medium bitter. Citrus. Quinine. Grain. Drops off quickly. Light bodied. Slick. Average-flat. Dry astringent finish. Nice.

Can: Poured a Golden with fluffy creamy head. Aroma was hoppy and grape fruit. Taste is more of that same grapefruit hops, very tasty and crushable.

Can at The Turnhouse, Edinburgh Airport. It pours clear amber with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, resinous, piney, cakey malts, biscuit and just a touch herbal. The taste is dry, light bitterness, sticky, piney action, grassy, resinous, touch of biscuit, varnish and some citrus rind with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body, moderate carboantion and slightly sticky mouth - feel. Not a patch on hi res imo. Drinks easy enough, but lacks a bit of wow factor.

I mean.... it's fine. It's got a decent hoppiness to it and a good citrusy zest going on but it just feels a bit by the numbers. There's nothing special to commend it other than it being a decent IPA that doesn't particularly put a foot wrong.
