Sampled from bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Opaque black color, small brown head. Smell and taste malts, loads of herbs or spices, cinnamon and mint, slightly bitter. Not my thing.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB June 2015, large sample. Dark color, short dying brown head, cola lacing. Aroma of chocolate, mocha, cinnamon, wood. Quite sweet in taste, chocolatey, spicy, bit roasty bitterness. Spices make it a bit sharp and less creamy. Ok stuff.

22oz bottle pours out dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is cinnamon vanilla milk chocolate and roast malts. Taste is more of the sweetness cinnamon toast and malt. This was very fun to try and they did a good job on the horchata goal.

Bottle, Boise imperial stout tasting. Brown pour with a light beige head. Sweet nose with a little cinnamon and roast. Cinnamon and sweet, sort of a cereal like sweetness in the taste. A little roast. A legit Horchata vibe, from my minimal experience with the drink.

22 Oz bottle shared. Thanks T. Pours an oily black with no head. Brown sugar and syrupy sweet aroma. A lot of chocolate here. Medium body with a vanilla, maple, cocoa flavor and finish. Not bad at all.

22oz bomber pours with a very dark brown body that supports a weak dark tan head of brief foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts, sweetened coffee, a molasses sensation, sweet black licorice, cinnamon graham cracker, dark chocolate and then white chocolate at the end of the draw. The taste is smooth and pretty rich as it quickly picks up chocolate, a dash of sweetened coffee and then a dash of molasses. And then to midway it barrels straight into cinnamon graham cracker and a white chocolate sort of sweetness. Pretty cool brew.

22 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Half a finger of tan head with half a finger of tan head that quickly fades into a thin ring. Aromas of cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, marshmallow fluff, roast, milk chocolate. Tastes of mint, chocolate, light spices, light roast, some vanilla and lactose. Medium body with a dry finish.Medium-low carbonation.

Bottle, kindly shared by MisoW, many thanks. Almost black color with medium beige head. Dark malt, coffee in aroma. Strong coffee taste with caramel, milk chocolate, licorice, vanilla. Good.

Bottle shared by MisoW. Aroma strong roasted with dark malts’ sourish astringency included. Clear very dark colour. Taste is surprisingly sweet with lots of caramel. Also strong roasted, light light huskiness in the finish. Overall very good.
