13th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear amber beer with a little suddy white head. Some sulfur on the nose! Light semi dry palate. Fresh dry fruit with some toffee malt. Tastes okay but the nose is very offputting!

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty butterscotch aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

bottle, Darts Farm Topsham, Exeter, Devon. Hazy amber-brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Fruity nose. Medium-bdoeid, pleasantly malty with lots of fruit (orange, mango) and lots of caramel - interesting and pleasant combination. A fine brew.

Cask conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Bronze coloured with minimal head. This was quaffable despite its strength. The aroma was of sweet malts and red fruit. The flavour was of caramel although with some supporting dry hoppiness. There was quite a pronounced sweet aftertaste. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also light flowery hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet malty and dominated by caramel.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Hazy amber. Little bit of weird yeast on teh aroma. Bit of fruit in mouth. Some dryness on end. Odd. Very drinkable and you can see that you would drink a lot of it even at 5%

Cask at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford. Dark brown coloured beer that was both malty and sweet quite full flavoured and nice chewy edge to it very good.
