excellent dark chocolate molasses, cinnamon, a pepper notes. Low carbonation tons of dark chocolate spiciness, cake, molasses. Amazing depth. The peepers just linger. Amazing.

Brown-black pour with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of chocolate, malt and a bit of pepper. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, mildly spicy pepper, fruit and vanilla. The finish is chili-infused cocoa and molasses. Good beer all around.

Boozy nose, bit thick, not too much spiced chocolate comes through, but still smooth for 10abv.

On tap at Dark Arts. Pours a pitch black color with almost no head. A big boozy bourbon nose. Hot bourbon, vanilla, thin body, roast, light spices. Very nice, but the original is better.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a transient tan head. Aroma is treacle, even some brown sugar, a touch of chocolate. Possibly a hint of chilies. Med body or so. Flavor is a subtle mix of flavors. Mostly what was in the aroma, but the chilies are more forward, yet hardly strong. Chocolate is the most persistent accompaniment of the dark treacle. Smooth. Sophisticated. Excellent.

Soft sweet dark, spicy, nice. The chiles are excellent in this - but they chose the right type of earthy, not so hot chiles that pair well with strong stout.
