Singapore holiday - day 10/13, at the Brewhouse near Napier MRT, a pint draught. Aroma: freshly-mown hay, very inviting. Appearance: clear light amber, one finger off-white cream, beautiful tiny bubbles rising. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, average carbonation; long well-hopped finish. Taste: lightly bitter, biscuit, a hit of tonic water; a very refreshing beverage.

Draught at Canjob, Singapore. Pale yellow with a white foamy head. Some malt sweetness and toasted notes. Light fruit. Some background crispness but drowned out by the sweeter notes.

On tap at the Singapore river front location, pours a clear dark gold, white head. Corny nose, parsnip, flabby malt, straw. Flavor has the corn, malt, and a little vegetable. Off dry finish. 6 3 5 2 9

On tap at RedDot Brewhouse, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty neutral, with a touch of crackery malt and nonexistent hops. Flavour is clean, with gentle grassy notes and crisp biscuity malt. Lacking oomph, but it's clean and drinkable. Meh.

19th Jan 2019, Lager/Pilsener tasting session at home with the wife; old Veltins Pilsener glasses used. 330ml bottle (5% ABV), brought back from Singapore for me by a friend (bottle clearly states proudly brewed and bottled in Australia). Anyway no matter where it is brewed it's a fine Pilsener all round. Crisp and refreshing with a good sharp feel to each sip. Golden bodied, clean and clear; on top a white crown. Nice balance from the malty base and the hop content combining to produce a good thirst quenching Pilsener.

Keg at RedDot Boat Quay, Singapore. Clear golden, small head. Fruity nose with some hay. Very sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sugary dough and hay. Mid bitter finish. Much too sweet, otherwise solid.

On tap at the Brewpub. Golden with a white head. On the sweet side with bread, light vegetables and some hints of citrus. Drinkable but nothing special.
