Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a beige tan head. Aroma is sort of cold brew coffee with a lot of malt. Full bodied. Flavor is coffee and medium treacle. Not at all dry. Very tasty.

Bottle - Dark coffee roast and chocolate notes. Jet brown with a light brown head. Nice dark roast, cocoa and sweetness. This is actually more balanced and rounded than the original.

Black color, medium sized head. Strong coffee character, good balance of roastiness and sweetness, dark chocolate. Balanced, powerful, my kind of Imperial Stout.

Black color, brown head. Moderately sweet, with nice roasted malt character, some coffee, some warming alcohol. Some roasted nuts, almonds, and liquorice in the final. Not complicated, but a balanced and solid Imperial Stout, straight forward.

On tap. Pours black with light white head. Aromas of vanilla, licorice, fresh ground coffee and roasted malts. Flavors of slightly sour, oily fresh pressed coffee dark, dark sugar, and rich roasted malts. Super coffee forward stuff.

On tap at BierCraft with Jamey and Brad. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is lots of coffee, some grassy notes, roasted malt. Taste is sweet, coffee, grassy notes, boozy. Good one, but would be better with less sweetness and booziness.

22 oz. bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, thanks a lot. Aroma is bold fresh coffee beans, dark chocolate, cocoa beans, molasses, toffee, and mild honey nuance.

The coffee is rich and integrated. Full bodied with a full / chewy decadent mouthfeel with low carbonation. Massive stuff, coffee is so damn good. If you love coffee stouts, this is flat out pimping! Exactly as I love my stouts.

Bottle - Pours dark brown tan head - nose/taste of coffee, roast chocolate, bitter chocolate, chewy licorice - medium body. Overly bitter. I much preferred the non-imperial version.

At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, pitch black color, aroma of roasted coffee with green notes, same traits in flavor’ but with less of the green notes and with some waffle, medium sweetness. A bit one dimensional but still very enjoyable.

Dark black pour, thin brown head. Aroma has a lot of coffee, really a lot, so I am not getting much else from there. Sweet dark fruits and some cocoa milk chocolate maybe. Taste is totally like a good morning coffee and yes, feels like coffee, not like a beer. Refreshing and not really showing any strength although this is supposed to be 10%. Beautifully executed and elegant imperial stout, deceiving you with its fresh character.
