Bottle from the brewery. Jet black pour, with a medium beige head. Super roasty, light pine resins, coffee, cocoa, pithy bitterness. Silky mouth feel, great carb, medium bitterness. Sharp, and dry intensely roasted stout. Huge cocoa powder abdb coffee notes, fantastic stuff.

Fantastic, no BS stout. Dry and roasty, a nice bitter chocolate flavor in the finish. Really great.

Dec 07, 2023 16oz shared @ Ryan's after kids' time. Packaged on 01-Nov-2022. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, some chocolate and sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, quite thick (especially for a dry stout), moderately sweet. Overall: good one. It appears that they may change the recipe, as it doesn't taste either like before or Dry Irish Stout. Jan 31, 2019 500ml bottle at 1st visit of Farees' place. Appearence: dark brown with a beige head Aroma: roasted malt and fruitiness Taste: crazy roast with ink notes, very dry Overall: too much roasted malt bitterness. 7-4-6-3-12=32

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 01/Nov/2022). Very dark brown with small beige head. Quite roasty, mild chocolate, quite nice. Tried Unify or Die earlier in the night (which uses this as the base beer) and this has much more body. Enjoyable.

A deep brown stout with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light caramel notes, light coffee, nutty and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light treacle, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at brewery.

500mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out powdery dry cocoa and medium toasted malt. Flavour is quite dry and chocolatey, with chocolate powder and bitter toasted malt. Dry and cocoa-y. Solid.

Dark brown. Nutty, somewhat coffeeish aroma. Full body. Nutty again, but chocolate, rich bitterness, good sugars. Well balanced. I didn't think much of this when I tried it in 2019, but either the beer's changed or I was wrong. This is very good stout.
