Cask at Cask Days 2017, listed as 11.1%. Very boozy aroma caramel. Less boozy taste, vinous fruit, but still a big big beer

Pours deep cloudy amber into a tulip. Off-white soapy head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Toffee, oak and pit fruit aromas. Thick with dry oak, dark pit fruit and caramel front to back and into the lasting hot toffee burn finish.

375 ml bottle, 2016 Vintage purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions, Kittery. Great clarity in a Amber color liquid. Aroma is bold dark fruits, (raisins, prune, figs) and just a hint of oak.
Wow, real nice blend here. The oak is subtle compared to the dark fruit flavors. The over 10% alcohol content is hidden almost totally. Gives just a slight warming of the belly after the swallow. Good body with a slick and slightly sticky texture. As sweet as it maybe, it never gets cloying. Very well executed.

Bottle shared at Anchorage Feb ’15 Tasting: Poured orange with white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, oaky, and fermented fruits. The barrel aging has melded this beer very well with oak, caramel malts, fruity, subtle hops.
