Taste comprises tangerine, light salt, damp straw, lemon rind, herb, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering spike. Okay Gose.

Straw golden coloured body with a slightly hazy pale glow and a very thin, barely a layer pure white head covering the top of the beer. Aroma of grass, light brine, a dash of biscuits and malt with some herbs and that's about it - no hops, no alcohol or punch and sadly - no fruits nor oranges or anything resembling flavour. Light-bodied; Strong dry and floral, grassy malts show with a light touch of pure salt and brine and very little else, with the fruits, sugars and hops all NOT coming out in the slightest bit - there isn't a note at all that there would be fruit in here. Aftertaste is dry, grassy, floral and salty with some light malts and again - nothing else - no fruits, alcohol, sugars or complexity. Overall, a very poor gose that while is easy to drink and soft, does not have any significant flavours or complexity to make this interesting - there is no fruits, no hops and no depth once you get past the initial salt and malt. Definitely worth passing over, sadly, as the brewery usually makes slightly better beers and there are definitely much better goses out there to spend your money on. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Towson, Maryland on 27-May-2019 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 03-September-2019.
