A decent beer with some smoky bitter notes, A nice light amber color. Not bad for a red ale, lacking a real strong full mouthfeel to open up the palate. 2018 Bier Advent Kalendar --- Beer aliased from original tick of Rooster's Red Ale on 09 Oct 2020 at 08:51 - Score: 7.2. Original review text: A really nice malty smooth red. Lots of esters, low bitterness. To style. Red rooster dresden

Bottle: Bright amber coloured, clear, small persistent (off-) white foamy layer, clean sweetish malty nose with some toasty and honeyish spots and well hidden traces of toffees, shy certain bitterness in the background; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, more light than medium bodied, not really soft; nearly moderate sweetish-bitter finish. Nothing wrong with, just not really exciting...

(bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a beige and quickly collapsing frothy head. Slightly buttery malty nose with loads of toffee and mildly fruity accents of dark and red berries. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Slim malty base with notes of toffee and subtle fruity notes; moderately sweet toffee-malty finish. Okay. 30.VIII.18

Pours dark copper colored from the bottle. The thick and foamy head soon fades to a creamy layer. Aroma is caramel, light banana. Taste is caramel sweet with mineral notes. Has a nice palate — medium bodied, smooth, even a bit creamy, with a moderate carbonation. Overall not bad, but the lack of depth makes it more interesting as a companion to food rather then a stand alone.

And again a bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Bright unclear copper in the glass with a mighty foamy head. Smells grassy with a fruity malty background. Taste starts more dry malty, little bit toasted, fruity in the second row. Okay.
