Clear dark gold in color with a three-finger head. Beer is a med grade Belgian style. Aroma is cloves and grains. Taste is also cloves and grains with a slight tart finish.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is yeast ester, peach and white sugar. Flavor is more of the peach and sugar with a nasal clearing alcohol. Kind of on the edge of being a triple. A little too heavy and sugary.

It pours a not quite clear orange gold with a small but steady head of foam, lacing is pretty good.

The smell is cloves, yeast, orange peel, coriander, on sweet side I reckon but there's definitely a bitter note or two.

The taste is yeasty, sweetish, orange peel, coriander, some citrus bitterness. Also, the alcohol is noticeable.

Thickish mouthfeel, almost cloying.

Not my favourite domestic Belgian style Tripel.

Thick, hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for quite a while. Aroma of honey, pungent yeast, a bunch of wheat and coriander seed with a lot of full oranges and curacao notes along with a dose of pure floral and grassy flavours and ending with a strong, but relatively easy-to-drink bite from the herbal elements that really show through the yeast scents. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich wheat and yeastie flavours throughout with a dose of grain, flowers and grass with a kick of hay and herbal elements that end in a remarkably robust yeast and pure honey sweetness that shows throughout. Aftertaste shows some pungency in terms of wheat, yeast, honey, sweetness, grain and even a bit of the floral elements. Overall, a nice and robust beer with a lot of pungency in the finish with the sweetness and sugars taking over, but a lot of grain and coriander seed to couple the honey and floral elements that are more pungent. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Publix Grocery Store in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia a few hours ago on 28-May-2018 for US$12,99/six pack, sampled in my hotel room here in Atlanta on 28-May-2018.

Draft at My Friend’s Growler. Clear golden color. Aroma has light citrus and banana. Taste is sweet, light spice, light fruit. Tasty.

Much like Cadence, Jude eschews typical Belgian complexity for basic American sweetness, although the sugary center works better for this beer than Reformation’s dubbel. Big wheat beer banana-clove front, accented by a honey backbone, leading to a mild bready finish. Palate is a push, lacking a Belgo feel but also missing boozy heat. Nice clove-and-wheat aroma, though, and the pour’s pretty, straw gold and foamy with modest lacing. Decent.
