The Western Seaboard Project is a series of IPAs inspired by contemporary Pacific coast beer culture, focusing less on bitterness and more on crisp malt profiles with modern, ultra-vivid hop character. Our third release is saturated in super fresh, hand-selected Citra in four forms: T-90, Cryo, Hyperboost and Dynaboost. Spritzy, resinous and dank in all the key areas with flavours of pot, Seville Marmalade and blood orange negronis.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Pretty much a clear gold beer, small bubbly off white head that doesn't last that long. Light smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Light bodied smooth pale malts, just the right amount of sweetness for this brew. Lovely hoppage. Light smooth cooling pine. Resinous but light and bright tangerine, orange and mandarin fruits, a mild mild savoury skunk lurks down at subterranean levels. Light finish. Yeah, that is one quaffable brew. Could keep this company all night and the some.

440ml can. Clear golden amber, unusually thin white head. Aroma of orange, resin, light herbal. Taste is very orangey, lots of marmalade, resinous, some dank herbal notes, mild bitterness. Medium bodied.
Good again, but still left scratching my head about this Bright IPA style. Westies without bitterness just don't seem right!

Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour, with a few bubbles and a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, herbal, grassy. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, herbal, light orange marmalade, grassy, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. It’s ok, but not world class.
