Thwaites has labelled two different beers as Triple C over the years.
This recipe (produced until 2012) was an English single-hop IPA using Cascade - in this case the "triple" referred to using Cascade for all three stages of hopping: bitterness, flavour and aroma. It was sold at 4.2% in cask and 4.4% in bottles.

500ml Bottle: I really should read the rear labels before buying sometimes. I am no fan of cascade hops and this is riddled with them. Poured into a UK pint sleeve the beer looked fine: golden, clear and clean. The head a white foam blanket that stayed the distance. Those bloody cascade hops and their grapefruit notes fill the aroma and taste of this refreshing beer, just too citrusy for me from start to finish. I tried to enjoy it and almost did. Scored objectively (honest).

Aroma: Light fruity aroma of grapefruit and lemon. Some pine, honey and caramel notes in there too.
Appearance: Completely clear golden body with a very thin, bubbly head that quickly fades. Slow-rising carbonation. No lacing.
Taste: Lovely grapefruit hop flavour. Light and refreshing. Sweet caramel flavour adds balance to the bitter hops. This is really tasty - I could happily drink several of these.
Palate: Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Flat carbonation.
Overall: Don’t be deceived by its ugly, flat appearance, this is a light, juicy, sessionable Golden Ale.

Pours a clear golden colour with a thick frothy head and a few bubbles. Aroma is light hop with a faint citrus hint. Lively on the tongue and a faint fruity flavour with a hoppy finish. Drinkable but not memorable.

Bottle on the train from London to Paris. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Definitely lots of that classic pasteurisation character on the nose, all doughy cabbage and what have you. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty straw, toasty dough, subtle caramel and pine. Light to medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Faint resinous pine bitters on the finish, some lightly toasted pale malts, background grass and ripe orange. Not too bad.

50cl bottle from Morrisons. Pale gold with a ring of white head and heavy carbonation; slightly musty aroma, with some citrus and honey; slightly thin, with a grainy taste; and some citrus hops leaving a long dry, slightly spicy finish. Not the best exemplar of Cascade hops.
