Pale yellow with large white head and strong effervescence. Sour milk, barley malt, and straw aroma. Mildly sweet lemon/orange, barley malt, mildly sour lactic acid, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body

Can (8/30/25) shared by Matt. Clear, pale yellow, nice head with good retention, light lacing. Aroma is subtle pale malt, grain, earthy element--a bit glue-like. Taste is corn and a cross between cheap champagne and Budweiser. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, crisp finish as taste. An easily crushable brew--pretty subtle and on the macro side. Love the sentiment to use Kernza but wish they had done more with it.

12 oz can. Pours a fizzy yellow color with a medium white head. The aroma is mild corn and some indistinct grains. The taste is washed out light grains. Palate is thin and watery. Finishes thankfully short. Overall: Damn Deschutes, you can do better than this.
