33cl Bottle from Sterk. Clear deep reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of red fruits, dark fruits, raisins mainly, chocolate, malts. Flavour is sweet, malty, chocolate, raisins, dark fruits, cognac, soft bitter finish. Medium bodied at best. Simple, tasty.

0.33 l bottle from ’Drankgigant’, best before June 2018. Clear, dark reddish amber with a frothy, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of caramel, chocolate and licorice. Moderately sweet, malty taste of caramel, chocolate, licorice, some raisins and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

33cl bottle, trocken orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, leicht rauchig, nussig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, süß, sehr karamellig, nussig, minimal rauchig.

Rauchiger Geruch. Malzig herb-rauchig zu Beginn, leichte Bitterkeit. Spritzig, konstante Intensität, der Alkoholgehalt lässt sich zwischenzeitlich immer mal wieder blicken. Sehr würzig, vollmundig. 10/9/10/10/8/10

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Dark brown, beige foam. Caramel, sweet malts, light bitter hoppy finish. Well balanced. Nice bockbier.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB 06 2018 or 2019, large sample. Clear copper color, medium frothy head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, toasted malts, autumn leaves, slight spicy. Toffee and caramel sweetness, burned toffee, slight roast even. Pretty good stuff.

Shared from bottle thanks to Maakun. Clear brown with light tan head. Big sweet malts, old leaves, prune, spices, rubbery gum. Over medium sweet and quite bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish.

Bottle shared. Almost clear mahogany with beige head. Lots of brown sugar, caramel, brown bread, green leaves, tutti frutti, light strawberries. Quite sweet but also a long lasting over medium bitterness. Over medium bodied. Nice fruity bock, maybe a bit too bitter for me.

Bottle shared. Hazy brown with a small cream head. Aroma of big malt, caramel, spicy aspects, raisins and overripe dark fruit. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.
