56,8cl can from some Maxima in Vilnius. Pours dark, dark mahogany coloured with a rather fast dissipating off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with notes of dark dried fruits and hints of rye bread. Sweet and malty and reminds me slightly of kvass - it’s a bit bready and there are some slightly sour notes present. Quite drinkable, but hardly memorable.

Can, 568ml: BBD 24th Apr 2018. Poured into a vase shapped ’Old Speckled Hen’ pint glass at home on 2nd June 2017. Two hour walk with the wife and dog, needed a beer: really enjoyed this, one of the best ’Dark Lagers’ I have come across so far. Malty and semi-sweet in nature, Cola brown body, off-white head. Caramel and toffee in both the nose and taste: my sweet tooth taking to the brew straight away.

CAN 50 CL. Clear dark ruby-brown, creamy beige head. Very nice fresh dark bready aroma, sweet bread, some cereals. The taste follows with same breadiness, but is shifted much further towards sugary candi syrup sweetness, and that is without hops to balance. Decent, but too sugary.

Bottle shared at Daniels place. 20/02/2016. Thanks to Paulo for this one. Dark orange, nutty brown coloured pour with a fine light tan head. Aroma is died fruits, nutty malts, Flavour is composed of weak brown bready malts, brown sugars, little dried fruits, raisin, little dried apple. Palate is a little thin, sugary, moderate carbonation. Decent, pretty crush able.

Can shared at the Richmond Tasting - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear caramel-amber with a creamy tan head. Mellow aroma, with touches of toasted grains, caramel, light cardboard, toasted cereal. Medium sweet flavor with lightly syrupy caramel, brown bread, almost no hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish with more brown bread, some ripe berries, more caramel. Tasty, simple stuff.

By pint can shared in Richmondo. It pours clear rich ruby brown with a thick off-white head. The nose is earthy, brown bread, wood, leather and some dark fruits. The taste is bitter - sweet, dull caramel, earthy, wood, leather, spice and some dark fruits with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well - rounded and easy drinking. Not fucken bad.
