Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Hazed, slightly darker amber in colour with a head. Has a decent wheat character with a fairly herbal element to it, which tastes a little like coriander. Its yeasts and banana are still very much evident, with the latter fairly stated.

500ml Bottle.

500ml bottle from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours hazy pale yellow with a tall white head. Aroma is orange zest, coriander, perfumey (reminds me of provincial Russian wheat ales, and more specifically, something by LipetskPivo). Taste is medium sweet grain, wheat, yeast, more perfume. Usually I am impressed by Lithuanian wheat beers, but this is just not doing it for me.

Bottle in Vilnius. Smooth mild fruity beginning. Lots of fruit, hints of cherries or berries, long but not too deep, yeast, dry, moderate bitterness. Interesting.

33cl bottle at home on 5th Nov 2017, one month before it's BBD. Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. Cloudy, mucky amber/brown body, white topping. Yeasty with cloves and another herb like aroma in the nose, almost like a medical cough mixture. Taste is also yeasty with cloves and coriander to the fore, light citrusy notes appear as the beer warms a little. It's OK, but not one of the best in style I've come across.
