330ml can via Beer52; poured into a La Chouffe glass at home on 7th October 2025. Dark brown body, off white crown. Malty front to the nose and taste, bready feel, semi sweet, hops do kick in later, it's fine, went well with Ham and Pickle.

Clear, chestnut/brown pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is mainly roasted malt, tiny hints of cocoa and sweet citrus. Taste is roasted/burnt at first, then bread, some citrus and cocoa. OK overall

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola brown coloured pour with a billowing, everlasting beige head; sweet malty aroma; sweet malty taste with some nutty and earthy notes; then an earthy bitterness. More like a Brown Ale than a Dark Lager in my opinion.

330ml can from Beer52. Pours a dark cola brown with fluffy beige head, great retention and lacing, very good retention. Aroma of mid-roasted malts, cocoa, biscuit, caramel. Taste is along similar lines but balance is slightly off with a sweet syrup like flavour that comes through. Decent bitterness does offset to a degree. Nice soft mouthfeel to it. Mixed.

Dark red/brown, light tan head
A - roast malts, caramel, chocolate
F - dark bready malt, chocolate, slight nutty finish
If all lager tasted like this I'd drink more of them
