This beer is substantial! The robust body from Golden Promise malt and oats enables it to carry a serious dry-hopping of Krush Cryo, Idaho 7, Citra and Mosaic hops. We allowed it a lengthy conditioning time for a juicy sensation without the green character often associated with big beers and substantial dry hops.

200ml draught at Habitat. Unclear dark golden body, covering white head, upper part lacing on the glass. Mid-sweet hop driven smell, hints of tropical fruits and citrus. Heavy taste profile, impacts of pineapple and ripe orange joined by soft malts. Sweet juice fruity end with noticeable alcohol. Not easy to drink, but fair enough. Jeg synes at jeg har utvist eksemplarisk selvkontroll når jeg ventet i opptil flere uker etter lanseringen, men nå får det jammen holde! Uklar gyldengul med tett skumkrone som varer lenge. Gule steinfrukter (mango/papaya/aprikos/honningmelon), blomkarse og lett overmodne appelsiner i en myk og samtidig solid maltkropp (Golden Promise!). Litt alkohol mot slutten. Et godt kognitivt støttehjul som bidrar til at selvbildet holder seg intakt.

Can. Color: Murky dark orange, white head. A lot of tiny particles floating in the beer. Aroma: Hoppy, notes of tropical fruit. Taste: Sweetish, notes of sweet tropical fruit (mainly mango, some overripe pineapple, guave and blood orange), hoppy, smooth and dense malty base. Subtle boozy. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Ok, but over the top for me.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Quadruplane New England Quadruple IPA, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 12.0%. Cloudy / murky orange colour, large white head. Aroma of over-ripe yellow stonefruits and tropical fruits, sweetish malts and alcohol, hints of pine. Sweet flavour of malts, alcohol and said fruits, with fairly distinct piney notes in the moderately bitter finish.
