Cask, Badger Bar, Rydal. Malty aroma. Malty, hoppy flavor with laurel and just a hint of coffee. Long hoppy finish with a hint of blackcurrant. Light amber color. Well balanced ale with a fine taste.

Cask at the South Western Arms, St Denys (So’ton) - 09/09/12. Clear amber with a thin white head. Nose of light malts and caramel. Fruit and a little caramel in the not so flavoursome taste! Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter finish. Pretty dull - ’W’ for whelmed!

Weak and watery in its texture despite having an appealing golden appearance.

From cask at Market Porter. Pours clear and golden orange to yellow witha small, dense and slight off-white head. Aroma is vague butterish to light caramelish. Mild ashtray like hops note, dry and grassy. Bitter and dry finish. Leaving a nice persisting lacing on the glass.

Cask. Clear copper colour, small white head. This is a rather standard cask ale, a little fruity, not too bitter. But OK.

Cask Conditioned at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen
Hazy light amber color; thick creamy head. The aroma is light, with very light apples, the flavor is in the average; smooth texture, some malt, medium-high bitterness, fresh and lightly fruity, with some residual yeast flavor. Boddington’s evolution.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] An orange beer with a slight haze underneath a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity especially with notes of peaches and oranges. The flavor is sweet fruity again with peaches and oranges, but also with a light metallic note, which makes me wonder if it was served just over the edge.
