Bottle, from historic notes, sourced not recorded. Poured golden to amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of hops, caramel, light fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Morrisons Aylesbury. Dark golden in colour with medium white head, Very bitter and quite hoppy and as such I am not entirely sure that I agree with the commercial description of ’delicate flavour’, some fruitiness in there as well, not bad at all.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden - almost orange - with a small, dense head. Rather light-bodied and somewhat. Completely dominated by bittering hops and not so much more

Dark bitter with a constant head, and hopped caramel aroma. Very dryly hopped flavour with hints of caramel. A reasonable bottled bitter.
