BRUSSELS UZVAR - Smoked fruits spelt saison.

In September 2024, we had the pleasure of meeting Viktor Vashchuk and Marco Cervetti from the Ukrainian brewery Beermaster. Together, and with the invaluable help of our friend Szymon Urb, we came up with a beer that would bring together our countries and our cultures. And that’s how Brussel Uzvar was born!
A mixed fermentation raw spelt saison base, infused with smoked and dried fruits (apple, wild pear, plum, and grape) traditionally used in the Ukrainian beverage Uzvar.
This beer offers a beautiful smoky aroma on the nose, followed by subtle cereal and lightly fruity notes on the palate.
We are truly delighted to have created this collaboration with them and eagerly await the day peace returns so we can brew more incredible beers together.
Cheers !

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. Pours a hazed golden yellow, thin white head atop. Lovely smoked character.. spelt grain, harvest cereal, soft sour edge, measured smokey presence with a modest grape touch. Like it.

Bottle at BBGG. Hazy yellow folden with small head. A lot of smoke, soft bandaids, lemon juice, mango, pear, plum. Over light sweet, more sour. Over light bodied. Strange but nice.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 31/03/2029, lot# 2025.
