Bottle from 2010. Pours hazy brownish red with a small offwhite head. Aromas of raspberries, overripe strawberries, malt, caramel. Taste is just the same. Ugh.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/1/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber light reddish/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy and lightly tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of raspberries, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy and lightly tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and tangy fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great robustness and balance of raspberries, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/tart/tangy notes as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/creamy, and slightly acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a great fruit beer! All around great robustness and balance of raspberries, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the lightly tart/tangy/bitter finish. Perfectly balanced fruit and pale/wheat malts, with just enough hop presence to balanced the sweetness. Never slick or syrupy from fruit notes. A very enjoyable offering.

On Tap at Growler Guys, Meridian Clear but rather amber for the style. Definitely not pink. Deep copper with a thin brief sandy head. Nice raspberry flavors, Clean light body betraying the almost amber character. Very tasty

Draft pour pint at the beer authority. Pours a clear reddish copper color with a quick fizz head. Fresh grape and raspberry aroma. Flavor closely matches. No suprises here. Tastes just how I expected, which is quite good. Nice, juicy, flavorful summer beer in my opinion. Good stuff. Update: 22 oz bottle brought back from Alaska. Thanks Wyatt! Same really tasty summer brew here. Love the raspberry touch. Will enjoy this beer again and again.

The appearance was a dark red color with a one finger white foamy head that dies within less than a minute, nice ruddy brown coloring on the sides, not much lacing.
The smell had a super large amount of raspberrries definitely comes out in the aroma in a nice fresh sweet yet tart way.
The taste was raspberry in the flavoring and is definitely backed up with the wheat to give it a fuller effect and to leave a raspberry deep wheat aftertaste. There was a slightly sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium on the body, sessionable - hmmm....I’m actually going to say no and that’s due to the fact that the wheat just comes out pretty full for me. Carbonation is good for a raspberry wheat ale as its not overly done.
Overall, a raspberry wheat ale made by Alaskan Brewing Company, honestly not a bad beer, I was a tad skeptical at first but am thinking it could go fairly well with some plain cheesecake, but I’m thinking I would be pretty full given the wheat part of it could be toned back a bit.
