Hazy yellow-orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Lemony aroma with some wheat and tea notes. Light body with flavors of mildly tart lemon, wheat, tea and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a lemony aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

When I pop the can I swear I can feel a tart nose. Makes my mouth water. Pour is a very nice hazy on vanilla yellah eye. Massages the palate with tons of cutting co2, very very nice. Yes, such a friendly pleasant tart beer, yet does not come across like flavored soda water. Very civilized, very friendly, very well mannered, like a good Berliner citizen should be! I really like this stuff, keeps your mouth watering from beginning to end. Much better than expected, probably because I thought it was going to be a tea flavored thang bit its really a berliner , thank you. Could easily drink another can of this enjoyable stuff, yea! As good as any real old country berliner, from across the sea.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Oak Creek, 11/8/18. Hazy orange-yellow, thin frothy white head, poor retention. Aroma of lemonade, hints of tea, pale bready malt. Taste is tea, syrupy lemon, pale malt. Medium bodied, low carb (almost flat), mild lingering tartness. Okay I guess.

Cloudy, brown/gold with a thin white head. Grain, lemon, tea scent. Taste is tart, lemony tea, wheat malt. Not bad.....a really different and unexpected take on the style.

Can. A- Lemon, mild tea. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Lemon, tea, salty, mild tartness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Okay. Neat concept and it should work and it sorta does. Lots of lemon. Tea is there but mild and tastes like instant Lipton tea. Decent enough.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 10/1/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, tea, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, lemon peel, tea, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, tea, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; light herbal tea/citrus peel bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, tea, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, lemon peel, tea, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very nice fruit/spiced Berliner weisse. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, lemon peel, tea, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly acidic/drying finish, never overly lactic. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Really well balanced Lacto, lemon peel, and tea flavors; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
