5/XI/22 - 33cl bottle @ Hey Joo Korean Restaurant (Ghent), BB: 26/IV/23 (2022-1449)

Clear gold blond beer, big solid creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, cow fodder, grains, some sulphur maybe? MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet and sugary from the start, a little malty, bit metallic, sweet, caramel touch. Aftertaste: sugary, candy, banana flavoured candy even, very gentle bitterness, meh, way too sweet for a lager.

Bottle from Asia Oriental Supermarket, Farnborough. Aroma is yer typical yeasty malty saccharine and glue lager miasma. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head. Some grainy bitterness followed by yeastie sweetness. Sour citrus into the finish. All hitting the wrong notes. There's also this element like someone's dropped a fag into the glass. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Just a sickly bitter mess. Who drinks this stuff if it's not a tick?

330 ml bottle, from Green Peas, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, starch, grass and candy. Fizzy mouthfeel. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, very moderate hops.

Unnoticeable aroma, mouthfeel was weaker than expected. A below-average lager.

Thuis uit een flesje. Nu allemaal niet zo mopperen hierop. Een fris pils met een laag percentage. Lekker voor de dorst op een warme dag. Ok, niet heel veel smaak en nasmaak. Helder geel, aardig koolzuur.

Large bottle, drank on 11th Dec 2019 in a Korean BBQ joint, Irvine, Orange County, California. Light golden pour, snow white head, my oily and fatty mouth from the BBQ meats ensured it disappeared very quickly. Much preferred the OB Premier Pilsner I had before it. This was all corn and rice like in nature, poor fare to say the least.
