This fruity twist on the iconic Blanche De Bruges retains the spicy freshness of the original wheat beer and adds a touch of red fruits. It evokes that feeling of holidays, sunshine, and good times. Brewed with juice from fresh cherries and a hint of elderflower.

250ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, redd-ish, amber colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, minimally pink-ish, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally artificial and sugary, fruity aroma, hints of cherry, sweet cherry, cherry juicy. Taste is slightly sweet and minimally tart, fruity, wheaty malty basis, minimally diluted hints of cherry, sweet cherry, cherry juice, elderflower overtones.
Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Slightly artificial, minimally watery, on the other hand quite refreshing and drinkable - OK.

Bottle at De Republiek Brugge. Hazy red pink colour lasting pink head. Artificial red fruit aroma. More of the same in the mouth. Raspberry jam flavour. Light cherry flavour. But it is like the jam in a Victoria sponge cake. Bit too sweet. Fun but ultimately it's some fruit syrup with a light wheat beer behind it.

Bottle from Raynville. It pours hazy deep magenta with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, perfumed, juicy, jammy, cherry drops, raspberry gummy candy and victoria sponge cake. The taste is smooth, sweet, fruity, tangy red berry, jammy, victoria sponge cake, cherry drops, touch of spice, toasty coriander seeds and blood orange peel with a short finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet and candy like, but it's fine for what it is.

Keg draught at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Lightish red and hazy with a pinkish white head. Cherries, creamy aroma, some raspberry. Sweet taste, lots of cherries tempered with some spicy wheat. Light body, soft carbonation. Very nice.
